Auditions

The New England Philharmonic has been recognized for its unique and adventurous programming and its high level of performance.

This your chance to perform premieres, commissions, and masterworks that are rarely programmed.

This all-volunteer orchestra is composed of professional, amateur, and student musicians from the Boston area and beyond who donate their time and talent to make this mission a success.

The NEP hears auditions on a rolling basis for open positions and substitutes.

Set up an audition for any Sunday evening before rehearsal, beginning Sept. 10th.

The New England Philharmonic is currently looking to fill
violin, viola, cello, & harp positions.

Audition requirements are a lyrical selection, a selection in fast tempo, optional orchestral excerpts, and some sight-reading. Send us an email!

The NEP rehearses regularly on Sunday evenings from 7:15-10:00 pm at United Parish Brookline.
